Kerrowgair is the country home of John & Judy Heggart.  It is a magnificent National Trust house, situated in historic Yass, 45 minutes from the nation’s capital, Canberra.

Kerrowgair has been beautifully restored.  The classically decorated sitting and dining rooms, with their warm open fires, are complimented by fine china, antiques and books.

The bedrooms at Kerrowgair all feature ensuites.  They are exquisitely appointed, with beautiful linen, bathrobes, tea trays and CD players.  Three bedrooms are queen size and one has twin beds.  One bedroom is designed for disable support.

The covered garden terrace is a perfect place for morning coffee or a drink at sundown, while the shady verandahs offer a quiet place to relax.

Kerrowgair is set on 1.25 acres of tranquil gardens, with towering trees, rose gardens, ponds and gravel walks.  Doves add an ambience of peace and contentment.

Kerrowgair is renown for its warm hospitality and superb breakfasts.  It gives a ‘special touch’ to romantic escapes, family gatherings, weddings, retreats or small conferences.  And, of course, at Kerrowgair, there is always a warm welcome for travellers.
